Take It Home

Reheat Like a Pit Master

Our barbecue was built to last. Follow these steps and it comes back almost exactly as it left our pit — juicy, smoky, and worth every bite.

Best Method

Oven

  1. 1

    Preheat oven to 325°F.

  2. 2

Place meat in a baking dish. Add 2–3 tbsp of water or beef broth, then cover tightly with foil.

  3. 3

Heat 20–30 min for sliced brisket or pulled pork; 30–40 min for ribs.

  4. 4

Remove foil for the last 5 min to re-crisp the bark.

If You Have One

Smoker or Grill

  1. 1

Set up an indirect heat zone at 250–275°F.

  2. 2

Wrap meat in butcher paper or foil with a splash of broth to keep it moist.

  3. 3

Place on indirect side and heat until the internal temp reaches 140–150°F.

  4. 4

Unwrap for 5–10 min over low direct heat to re-develop the bark.

Quick Option

Microwave

  1. 1

Place meat in a microwave-safe dish.

  2. 2

Add a splash of water or broth and cover loosely with a damp paper towel.

  3. 3

Heat on 50–60% power in 60-second intervals, checking between rounds.

  4. 4

Let it rest 1 minute before eating — it keeps cooking after you pull it out.

Pro Tips

Never reheat from frozen — thaw overnight in the fridge first for the best results.

Moisture is everything. A splash of broth or water before covering makes a huge difference.

Low and slow wins again. High heat dries out the meat fast — patience pays off.

Good for 4 days refrigerated, 3 months frozen. Vacuum-seal for best freezer results.
